Starting support shouldn’t feel overwhelming. During our initial consultation, we take the time to understand you, your goals, and what matters most before helping you create a support plan that suits your needs.
Our first appointment focuses on connection, understanding, and designing a plan that fits seamlessly into your everyday life.
Whether you are accessing support for yourself, your child, or someone you care for, our team is dedicated to making the process simple, clear, and supportive.
Your journey begins with an initial consultation. Reach out to our friendly team through our enquiry form, referral pathway, email, or phone. We’ll gather some initial information about your needs and goals, as well as the type of support you’re looking for. This helps us create a support plan tailored to you and connect you with the right member of our team.
Before beginning therapy, you’ll connect with our Practice Manager during your initial consultation, who will help guide you through the next steps. This is your opportunity to ask questions, understand how we work, and ensure that Growing Strong Allied Health is the right fit for you. Our Practice Manager will assist in creating a support plan by coordinating: the right service, the right clinician, appointment options, communication preferences, and any paperwork or requirements.
Behind the scenes, our Practice Manager works closely with our clinicians to understand your goals and create a support plan tailored to your needs during the initial consultation. Your information is reviewed by the appropriate team member, ensuring we connect you with someone whose skills, experience, and approach align with your requirements. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates to provide connected care, because support works best when everyone is working together.
Once we conduct the initial consultation to understand your needs, we collaborate to create a support plan tailored to your goals.
Your support plan may include:
- Therapy goals
- Recommended services
- Appointment frequency
- Service delivery options
- Collaboration with families, schools, or support teams
To help us create a support plan during your initial consultation, please bring along any information that may assist us in understanding your needs. Helpful information may include: NDIS plan details (if applicable), previous reports or assessments, medical or education information, current goals or concerns, and any questions you would like to discuss.
